Graveside service will be held July 13, 2003 for 68-year-old Elvie E. Rutherford of Jackson who died Friday, July 11 at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 26, 1934 in Perryville, the son of the late Everett W. and Sina (Hendrix) Rutherford.
Two sons survive, Robert Rutherford of Farmington, and Sherman Rutherford of Shawneetown.
Two sisters survive, Leona French of Perryville, and Carol Welland of Elkhart, Ind.
Also surviving are four grandchildren.
One brother, Edgar Rutherford, preceded him in death.
He was a member of Whitewater Christian Church in Perry County.
Graveside service for Elvie E. Rutherford will be held Sunday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitewater Christian Church Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Young and Sons Funeral Home.
