Placher, John Daniel
John Placher age 57, of Festus, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was born May 6, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Vivian Nadine (nee Williams) and William Dale Placher.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Daniel Justin Placher and a brother William Dale (Donna survives) Placher, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Cathy (nee Strange) Placher, a daughter Amanda Kay Davis and husband Jason of Imperial, Missouri, a sister Candace (the late George) Laiben of Festus and a grandson Justin Daniel Placher.
He was a retired machinist from Centrifugal Mechanical Industries in St. Louis and a member of the Fratenal Order of the Eagles #4341 in Crystal City, Missouri.
Visitation 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus with funeral services at 12:00 Noon Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri. Interment in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri.
