Pingel, Robert G.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Robert G. Pingel, 67, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 21, 1940, at Menfro, Mo., son of Herbert and Dorothy Sandlin Pingel. He and Shirley Coffelt were married Nov. 30, 1963.
Pingel was a teacher 30 years with Ste. Genevieve School District. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dana (George) Dickerson of Jackson; a sister, Sharon Brueckner of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Trent and Taylor Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Dwight and Don Pingel.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Immanuel Lutheran School or Church.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 for 67-year-old Robert G. Pingel of Perryville, who died today (Monday, August 13th, 2007) at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 21st, 1940 in Menfro, the son of Herbert (who preceded him in death) and Dorothy (Sandlin) Pingel Rhyne (who survives in Perryville).
He married Shirley Coffelt November 30th, 1963. She survives in Perryville.
He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Dana and George Dickerson of Jackson; a sister, Sharon Brueckner of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Trent and Taylor Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight and Don Pingel.
He taught in the Ste. Genevieve Public School system for 30 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 14th, and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 15th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
A funeral for 67-year-old Robert G. Pingel of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery.
