Lawrence, Barbara K. (nee Berkbuegler)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Barbara K. Lawrence, 95, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Perry Oaks Manor.
She was born Aug. 27, 1908, in Perry County, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Lappe Berkbigler. She and Robert M. Lawrence were married April 29, 1929, at Brewer, Mo. He died March 6, 1999.
Lawrence was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at St. Mary, Mo., and its Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Rousseau and Shirley Blechle, a son, Gary Lawrence, two sisters, Wilma Bohnert and Corine Bohnert, all of Perryville; 19 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a sister, a brother and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, with the Rev. Richard Kasznel officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at St. Mary.

A funeral will be held Thursday, August 26th, 2004 for 95-year-old Barbara K. Lawrence of Perryville who died Monday at the Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.
She was born August 27th, 1908 in Perry County, the daughter of Charles Berkbigler and Elizabeth Lappe Berkbigler who both preceded her in death.
She married Robert M. Lawrence on April 29th, 1929 in Brewer. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Ann Rousseau and Shirley Ann Blechle, both of Perryville; a son, Gary W. Lawrence of Perryville; two sisters, Wilma Bohnert and Corine Bohnert, both of Perryville, 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
Two sons, Robert Jr. and Jim; a sister, Rose Bohnert; a brother, Maurice Berkbigler and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and member of the Immaculate Conception parish in St. Mary and Ladies Sodality.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 25th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 26th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday and Rosary will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A funeral mass for 95-year-old Barbara K. Lawrence of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 26th at the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Kasznel will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Masses or family choice.
