Kistner, Beulah "Bertha" M. (nee Barks)
Mrs. Beulah Kistner, 35 years old, wife of Hubert Kistner, 1010 South Pacific street, died at Southeast Missouri Hospital shortly after noon today after an illness of only two days. She was taken to the hospital only this morning for an emergency operation for an intestinal obstruction.
The body was taken to the Brinopf-Howell Funeral Home, but funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
Mrs. Kistner, who was born in Marble Hill, lived there until 12 years ago, when she and her husband came to Cape Girardeau where he engages in timber trucking. She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barks of Marble Hill; four brothers, Berlyn, Jess, Windell and Basil Barks of Marble Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Felty of Millersville, Mrs. Mae Kimbell of St. Louis and Miss Ola Barks of Marble Hill.
