Holloway, Rodney Gale
SCOTT CITY - Rodney Gale Holloway, 47, died at 2:20 a.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 11, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of Harold and Juanita Vistia Crader Holloway of Jackson, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as councilman for the City of Scott City since 1997. He owned K&R Estates in Scott City and was self-employed with Capetown R.V.
On May 27, 1984, in Scott City, he married Karen Faye Austin who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: one son, Daniel Holloway of Scott City; one stepson, Stephen Parker of Millersburg, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Michelle Parker Siebert of Junction City, Kan.; two brothers, Ivan Holloway and Larry Holloway of Jackson; three sisters, Wanda Varney of Jackson, Judy Hicks of Cape Girardeau and Doris Woods of Benton; and three grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Randy Morse will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
