Gloth, Emory S.

Emory S. Gloth, 94, of Whitewater, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Emory was born June 28, 1919, at Whitewater, the son of William Louis and Edith Irene Snider Gloth.

Emory worked different jobs in St. Louis. He previously worked as a gardener in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two brothers, Cornelius Gloth of Wentzville, Missouri, and Harold Gloth of Whitewater; and two sisters, Bertha Gloth and Doris Stevens, both of Whitewater.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating.

Burial will follow in Passover Cemetery in Whitewater.
