Gibbar, Zita M. (nee French)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Zita M. Gibbar, 93, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at Independence Care Center.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 for 93-year-old Zita M. Gibbar of Perryville who died February 2, 2011 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born: December 15, 1917 in Perryville, the daughter of William French and Rose Tucker French
She married Harold Gibbar, Sr. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1991.
She is survived by a daughter: Dorothy (Glennon) Wibbenmeyer of Perryville; two sons: Tom ( Helen) Gibbar of Perryville and Roger (Karen) Gibbar of Cape Girardeau; a daughter in law: Irene Gibbar of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Harold Gibbar; a grandson: Keith John Wibbenmeyer; three sisters and four brothers.
She was homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 6 and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday, February 7th at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers Sunday evening. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 6th.The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A funeral mass for 93-year-old Zita M. Gibbar of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 7th, 2011 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Joe Williams, CM will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Endowment Fund or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
