Fadler, Danny Paul

Danny Paul Fadler age 66 of Marksville died on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in Marksville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on March 17, 2006 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville. Burial will be in St. Francis DeSales Mausoleum in Echo. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Fadler is survived by his wife, June Wall Fadler of Marksville, one son Reggie Fadler of Alexandria, two daughters, Roxanne Fadler Stewart of Woodworth, Jessica Fadler Rodriguez of Pineville, one step-son, Chadwick Wall Luneau of Bunkie, two sisters, Judy Fisher of Springfield, Missouri, Cathy Hodnett of Belle Chase, six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Mr. Fadler was a native of Kennett, Mo., and a resident of Marksville. He Moved to Avoyelles parish in 1965. He was a farmer for 30 years owning and operating Rusty Gate Farms, Rusty Gate AG Air Force where he was a crop duster, and Rusty Gate Welding and Tank Co.

He was presently owner and administrator of Cutting Edge CMHC Inc. in Marksville. He was an avid cutting horse enthusiast competing world wide and was reserve world champion in 1998, riding his favorite horse Pardners Playboy. For 28 years he was a loving husband to his wife June, he was also a loving father and "PaPa" to his grandchildren as he had put together a miniature animal farm for them to enjoy with their "PaPa".

Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until shortly before service time in the funeral Home. A Christian Wake Service will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm.
