Crites, Mary Jane (nee Haupt)
SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Jane Crites, 80, of Sedgewickville died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born Oct. 10, 1923, at Daisy, daughter of Robert Francis and Maggie May Moore Haupt. She and Cutis Edgar Crites were married Dec. 31, 1959.
Crites formerly was a cashier at McDonnell-Douglas. She was a member of Fee Fee Baptist Church in St. Louis.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry Barks of O'Fallon, Mo.; a stepson, Gerald Crites of St. Louis; three stepdaughters, Lavern Crites of Sedgewickville, Linda Crites and Patsy Bahrns of Effingham, Ill.; two brothers, Frank Haupt of Jackson, Johnnie Haupt of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Elsie Seabaugh of Millersville, Mollie Wright and Beulah Crites of Jackson; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rocky Tallent officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
