Cook, Pearl I. (nee Fuller)

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Pearl Fuller Cook, 89, of Marble Hill died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Bros. Kelly Francis and Kenny Francis officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill with full military honors.

Pearl Fuller Cook, age 89, of Marble Hill, MO; passed away, on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Woodland Hills Nursing Home.

She was born to William and Etta Kruse Fuller on July 24, 1923. She and Herman Denver Cook were united in marriage on October 22, 1945 and he passed away on April 26, 1990.

Pearl had worked in the shoe and hat factories on the assembly line. She served in the United States WAC from September 1944 to December 1945 and she was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Survivors include her son, Denver (Vicki) Cook of Glen Allen, MO; daughter Carolyn (Larry) Welker of Marble Hill; brother Ed (Pat) Behrends of Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Georgie Behrends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Bros. Kelly Francis and Kenny Francis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO with full Military Honors.
