Donald Gene Borchelt, 77, of Barnhart, Mo., formerly of Marble Hill, Mo., passed away May 23, 2015, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus, Mo. Born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on June 9, 1937, he was the son of Fred J. and Lillian C. Miller Borchelt.
Donald worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He retired from Wichern Equipment in Perryville, Mo., where he repaired John Deere equipment.
He was the father of three children: Donald James Borchelt of Barnhart, John Borchelt of Marble Hill, and Theresa Shrum of Jackson, Mo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran at Egypt Mills, Mo.
